| Out of Cape Breton, Nova Scotia come "Two More MacNeils". This versatile twosome provide a mixture of classic and original materials featuring Folk, Traditional Country and Celtic Flavours. A unique blending of vocal harmonies, their voices paint musical pictures and recapture memories guaranteed to provide pure listening enjoyment. Although the family spent many years in Cape Breton, the brothers eventually moved to Ontario and made it their home. Fraser MacNeil tends more to the Folk side. Many of his songs are based on his travels and life experiences. As you listen to Fraser's soothing voice and to the lyrics of his songs you will find yourself relaxing and the tensions leaving you. He has an uncanny ability to tell stories within his music. Fred MacNeil has been playing in bands in and around Ontario since 1970. His love for music covers a number of genres, although until joining forces with Fraser he stayed within the Traditional country field. The brothers have performed for family and friends for years and although encouraged heavily to combine forces, only recently did they decide it was time to put their respective talents together professionally. Their first demo CD, entitled "Trial and Error", combines a selection of songs showcasing their musical abilities. Regardless of venue or audience you are guaranteed to enjoy their performance. Better late than never, "Two More MacNeils" will win a place in your heart with their pure love of entertaining. |
